2. What data we process
- First name – to personalize the in-app experience.
- Questionnaire answers – your answers to the branching onboarding questionnaire, used as the basis for individually generated tasks.
- Partner code / pairing ID – a randomly generated code that links two users as a couple, without exchanging real names or contact details.
- Device / user ID – a technical identifier for your account, not linked to your real-world identity.
- Technical log data – e.g. IP address, access time, app version, to the extent technically necessary to run our backend (cloud.duoly.app) securely.
We do not collect location data, contacts, or real names (other than the first name you voluntarily provide).
3. Purposes of processing
- Providing the app's core function: generating individually tailored, AI-generated tasks for you as a couple.
- Linking both partner accounts via the partner code.
- Sending push notifications at the time you chose (only if you enabled this).
- Ensuring the security and stability of our service.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the app's terms of use) and, where you enable push notifications, on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
5. Recipients and processors
Your data is processed solely to provide the app's functionality and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes or sold. For technical delivery we use hosting/infrastructure providers and an AI provider to generate task text, with whom data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR are in place or will be concluded.
6. In-app purchases via Apple / Google
Subscriptions are billed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never collect or process payment or billing data ourselves – Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies apply.
7. Retention period
We store your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, your personal data is deleted within a reasonable period, unless legal retention obligations require otherwise.
8. Cookies and analytics on this website
This website does not use cookies or any analytics/tracking services. Only technically necessary server log data is processed when the page is accessed.
